Webinar opportunity: Financial Management in a Time of Crisis

04.21.20

Join us for a webinar: Financial Management in a Time of Crisis

At the Scranton Area Community Foundation, we are committed to supporting the capacity of nonprofit organizations as you work to fulfill your critical missions now, during the COVID-19 crisis, and always.

An organization needs to be able to calculate, understand, or forecast its true financial need during a time of crisis. This Friday, we will host a virtual workshop that will provide some practical tips on financial management during such times. The Financial Management in a Time of Crisis webinar will cover both sides of the financial equation: ideas for cost-cutting and revenue generation. You’ll also get actionable advice on internal controls you can implement even with a remote workplace. This session will include ample opportunity for questions and discussion with the facilitator. PLEASE NOTE: This webinar is scheduled from noon until 3:00 p.m. which is longer than other webinars offered during our webinar series. The three hours are needed for the more thorough and in-depth nature of this topic area.

This 3-hour, interactive virtual workshop is led by Thomas Scurto-Davis of the Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University.

Scranton Area Community Foundation, through the Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence, is pleased to be able to bring you this webinar focused on Financial Management in a Time of Crisis.
